Artist's Comments

sunday afternoon, same idea like my last piece. Mixing a 19th century theme with hi-tech elements, partly inspired by the old impressionism masters. Was also the first time that I figured chrome.

Brilliant idea, I love the way the ladies' dresses manage to look both classical and futuristic.

again great idea. I'm interested in both subjects and again i love the blending of the two ideas. Really good! Like the reflection on the Vehicle.

Stunning work, both technically and conceptually.
I love how you have retained the characteristic light atmopshere and lose brush strokes of impressionism while intergrating the streamline sci-fi element with beautiful precision. The juxtaposition of the pod with the environment makes the piece interesting yet the seamless blend means it doesn't look out of place. I also like how your textures not only replicate a traditional impressionist approach, but also contain the gritiness and variety found in modern art, in particular, digital paintings of the typical sci-fi genre.

My only piece of critisim is that the womens' faces could do with a little more refining and detail. Apart from that, this is a truely remarkable work of art .

Don't preach what you don't know unless you're making a point that you don't know in which case you've just proven you do.
